Discover the Serengeti
The Serengeti National Park is one of the most iconic places in the world. A World Heritage Site and the setting for the Great Migration, its endless plains are the symbol of what a safari in Africa means.
Here, each day offers a new spectacle: endless herds of wildebeest and zebras crossing the savannah, lions resting in the shade of acacias, cheetahs chasing their prey, and giraffes silhouetted against impossible sunsets.
For our local team, the Serengeti is more than a park: it is a place we know intimately, from the most famous corners to the least traveled paths. Our experience will allow you to experience the Serengeti in its most authentic essence.
The Great Migration
The Great Migration of the Serengeti is the most impressive natural phenomenon in Tanzania and one of the greatest spectacles on the planet. Thousands of wildebeest, accompanied by zebras and gazelles, travel an annual cycle in search of fresh pastures.
- January – March: in the southern Serengeti, where thousands of calves are born.
- June – July: in the west, when the herds cross rivers full of crocodiles.
- August – October: in the north, on the way to the Masai Mara in Kenya.
With our local guides who know the movements of the migration, being in the right place at the right time will turn your safari in the Serengeti into an unforgettable experience.
The Big Five and much more
In addition to an incredible diversity of fauna, the Serengeti is home to the Big Five: lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhinoceros. Here are some of the largest lion populations in Africa, herds of elephants, cheetahs, hyenas, and a great variety of birds.
But it’s not just about the quantity, but about the intensity of each sighting: a lion hunting at dawn, a cheetah in full flight, or a group of hippos submerged in the river.
Each encounter is unique: from the elegance of a giraffe to the power of a rhinoceros, the Serengeti shows wildlife in all its splendor.
Endless Landscapes
The name Serengeti means “endless plain” in the Masai language, and it could not describe it better. The open grasslands allow you to observe wildlife in all its dimension, while in the north and west the landscape becomes more wooded and mountainous, offering surprising contrasts.
Our safaris travel through different areas of the park so you can appreciate that diversity of ecosystems.
The endless plains of the Serengeti are the perfect setting for a photographic safari in Tanzania.
