Discover Arusha
Arusha is the city where the adventure begins. Located at the foot of Mount Meru and surrounded by volcanic landscapes, it combines vibrant markets, coffee plantations, and the Arusha National Park just a few kilometers away. For many travelers, it is the first stop in Tanzania; for us, it is a place full of life, authenticity, and nearby nature.
Our local team knows Arusha like their own home. We know where to find the best views, the most colorful markets, and the corners where the city shows its most genuine character.
Arusha National Park
A few kilometers from the city is Arusha National Park, a little-known treasure that surprises those seeking a first contact with nature. Its landscapes vary from tropical forests to lagoons full of flamingos. Here, it is possible to observe giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and even black and white colobus monkeys among the vegetation.
Although small compared to other parks, Arusha offers half-day or full-day safaris, perfect for beginning to feel the magic of Tanzania.
Mount Meru, Kilimanjaro’s sibling
Mount Meru, at 4,566 meters, is the second highest mountain in Tanzania and is located in Arusha National Park. Its trekking routes offer spectacular views towards Kilimanjaro and the savanna, as well as encounters with wildlife along the way. Less crowded than Kilimanjaro, it is the ideal option for those seeking adventure before or after their safari.
The city and its daily life
Arusha is a city of contrasts. In its streets, the modern rhythm coexists with the traditional Tanzanian life. Its markets are full of color and energy, a place to discover tropical fruits, local crafts, and the warmth of its people. It is also here that many travelers equip themselves for their route, but with us, you will always have the local advice that makes the difference.
